Welcome back to another episode on our segment, big sister advice! today we'll be discussing how you can find your feminine energy and protect it. we were inspired by AlexandrasGirlyTalk on Youtube to create our own list of how you can stay connected with yourself, embracing your feminine energy, and how to fully activate it.

Why do I need to find my feminine energy?
We can't believe we still need to remind ourselves that we 'live in a man's world.' It's absurd, and we need to change that. It's the feeling of men will always be in power, fewer opportunities for women, insane pay gaps objectification and violence against women. The news that we have all seen recently about Sarah Everard has shaken the community and forced us to say we need to stand up, change and be the voice for those who have lost their lives due to violence against women in hopes to see the next generation of women to walk on the streets alone and feel safe.
We're changing the way we view the patriarchy. We envision a world where if a woman wants something, works hard for it and asks for what she wants, she will be playing equally at the table. And this is a world we are working towards.
Often times women feel overwhelmed and unsure on how to balance their lives and how to navigate the terrain of feminity.

Take full responsibility for your life and your dreams - one of the biggest masculine energy traits is that men have the desire to be in control and have things “their way”, sweetie, claim back your control and achieve your calling.

Stop rationalizing everything - be able to stay more connected with your feelings and being less in your head and thinking many thoughts.
Give yourself permission to relax, to just be without doing - we live such hectic lives, self-care is vital.
Make creativity a habit in your life - creativity opens your mind whether this is through different forms of art, music, drama, poetry etc.
Schedule a boudoir photoshoot - a very intimate activity by nature, but the results and the feelings after it will be worthwhile. please make sure to find a photographer that you know you will feel comfortable with to ensure a smooth sailing shoot but otherwise it's your time to shine!
Work on your worth and your value - use positive affirmations, learn to accept compliments and introduce self-compassion!
Make it your mission to become happy, and fulfilled - you are in charge of your own happiness, remember if you feel like absolute shit - happiness comes in waves. it'll find you again.

Top 10 tips on protecting your feminine energy!
Here are the tips:
de-clutter your space - we cannot stress this enough, a clear space = a healthy and clear mind
start and end your day by not looking at your phone!!! by doing this, you won't absorb other people's energy (sometimes can be really negative), so that it doesn't disrupt your day.
If you see your self judging someone or being jealous of someone on instagram or any social accounts - unfollow them! honestly it's a waste of time to be invested in other' people's stuff, just life for you boo, and radiate all that positivity.
Keep a pintrest board or make an album that consists of mantras and affirmations - this was really help you, when you are feeling down, this is the best and quickest pick-me-up! trust us on this!
You are an adult. - you do not need to be wasting your energy on those who do not put the same amount of effort back. so if you realise that you are getting sad at the fact you don't get the same amount of love back, distance yourself! we are all adults and it's OKAY to not have a massive group of friends, small-groups are the ideal.
SELF-CARE. YOUR OWN SPACE AND TIME. - this is so important, you NEED to put yourself first always. Dedicate one day a week to your self-care day. this is a day where you literally take care of yourself, you do everything you wanna do to pamper yourself and make sure you have this day ALONE. be the main character girl.
Journal - ahhhh. we can't stress this enough. if you are feeling sad, journal. if you are feeling sh*t, journal. if you are feeling angry, journal. if your boyfriend is a twat, journal. honestly any mood you feel, just write it down. it will help you so much when figuring out what triggers you. also, it acts as a release so it's good for u!
Crystals + Sage - blessing your house every morning / or even every month with sage is so essential. with good and heartfelt intentions, you will be manifesting your dreams hunni! keep your crystals close to you and always believe in what they can do for you. because trust us, they work!
Have a stress release 'thing' - this is going to sound strange, but have something that you can do that will give you a stress release. that being, a squeeze ball, shouting into a pillow, throwing something at a wall, playing with your rings, meditating, it literally can be anything. JUST have ONE thing that can help with your stress release.
Lastly, be YOU. - enough of this fake act, enough of the bullshit. it's your life girl, and it's time you live it. rid of all the negative energies, and believe in yourself and your future. you are gOING PLACES! have trust and the universe will give it to you. Don't stress about other people's problems, don't create drama, don't make someone else feel shit, just live YOUR OWN LIFE. protect that energy. it's worth it.
