Gore-Tex jackets for a while has been neglected in the fashion world, people who had these type of jackets usually were the people who couldn't care about their style, however, GORE-TEX has recently smashed it and integrated themselves into the world of streetwear.
We both studied textiles together during our IGCSE's and adored looking and hunting for fabrics for our final designs, so we are a huGE fan when style and versatility meet.

What is Gore-Tex? - at the most basic level, it is a membrane that stops liquid water but allows vapor to pass through. This means that it acts as a double agent where it keeps you dry when it's raining but also when you're sweating. how. f*cking. amazing. is. that.
Why Gore-Tex? - it is a breathable, waterproof textile that is used for high-performance clothes and footwear. This includes ski jackets, lightweight shells, and hiking boots. The brands that pioneered this fabric are the ones that will be discussed below incorporating technology in their production to their final design.
