What is Streetwear Fashion?
"It is contemporary, usually casual clothing that is worn by urban youth subcultures. The definition is as vague as streetwear is an all-encompassing umbrella of styles & themes"
Streetwear has developed to envelop components of hip hop design, Japanese street form and present-day high fashion vibe.
A culture of Skate and Surf components.
Of course, there are a lot more streetwear brands, but here is a list of a few:

Our Aesthetic of 'streetwear':
Jas: I wouldn't consider my style to be street but I do love subtle elements of this trend! I love the oversized fit paired with anything fitting underneath to show off my curves and feminine features shown in the outfit pics below. I do really want to expand my wardrobe and introduce new high end/luxury statement items especially with brands like Polo Ralph Lauren and Off White.
I am obsessed with these pair of jeans from ASOS and would literally wear it going out or just chilling with friends as it is a very versatile piece. The sunglasses that I have paired with this outfit is a must. It is the perfect cat eye style sunglasses which I found at the thrift shop but you can definitely find a similar pair on ASOS.
I'm not going to lie to you but the mini handbag in the outfit picture is my grandma's from the 80's or 90's!! It's vintage Louis Vuitton and perfect to bring all my essentials in. I also borrowed my brother's white shirt and Nike x Off-White Blazer Mid "All Hallows Eve" sneakers which is why it looks extremely big on my feet (he's a size UK12) but again I love the oversized look.

Yas: To me, streetwear is my daily wear. I love brands like Palace, Stussy, Carhartt and Polar, the skater brands definitely do get to me. I own so many pieces of clothing from them, which I will show in the future posts (as all my clothes are left in the UK sadly).
The two outfits I put together to fit the streetwear aesthetic today, is a combination of my Nike hoodie and my Dior trousers.
I love wearing sneakers, my ultimate favourite pair right now, is the one in the first photo is the Nike Air Max Tailwind IV Spruce Aura (the mint colourway is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen).
